À PROPOS DE LA RADIO
To hear the wind blown gently through the Shakuhachi is to hear enlightenment. Calm Radio's Shakuhachi channel will metaphysically transport you to an imaginary Zen garden of Japan. During the medieval times the Fuke Zen Monks wore went on meditative pilgrimages with woven baskets over their heads while playing the Shakuhachi as a meditative expression of concepts which cannot be expressed with words. Introduced to Japan in the 8th century - this bamboo flute featured in many contemporary genres is famously known as the essence of “Zen” music. Steeped in Zen spiritualism with an intriguing tale of espionage, the serenity of Shakuhachi will make you feel as still as the reeds in a Japanese painting.
