À PROPOS DE LA RADIO
gnisios.gr was created in the winter of 2022 with a clear and uncompromising vision: to offer an en ligne radio station dedicated exclusively to authentic Greek music from the past—presented with deep respect for its sound, its lyrics, and the era that shaped it. Rebetiko, archontorebetiko, and classic laïko songs are not treated here as mere nostalgia, but as living narratives of human experience. These are recordings filled with immediacy, truth, and emotional depth—music whose power has endured across generations. Our programming focuses primarily on the period from the 1930s through the late 1970s, with carefully curated exceptions. Every selection is guided by a commitment to sonic quality, historical integrity, and a coherent listening experience. gnisios.gr is not a revival. It is a preservation of authenticity—broadcast live, worldwide.
