Slogan: Newberry County's Voice
Description: For over 75 years, WKDK continues to be "Newberry's County's Voice"...broadcasting on air at AM 1240 and now at 101.7 FM too!
Since 1946, we have been keeping listeners informed with national, international, state, and local news. We have also continued to provide heavy coverage of local sports. In addition to covering other area teams as much as possible, WKDK is the "voice" of the Newberry College Wolves and the Newberry High School Bulldogs.
With a heavy concentration of great oldies and a blend of current songs too, our music mix is very unique and enjoyed by more and more each day. We play your favorites...and ours too!
James P. "Jimmie" Coggins is Owner/General Manager, and Carole Murray is Program Director. We welcome any comments from our great listeners!
