ABOUT THIS STATION
Fresh FM is your community access radio station for Te Tauihu, the Top of the South. We’re more than just a radio station – we’re the pulse of the region. Every day, we amplify the voices that make our community unique – from local storytellers and creators to activists and everyday people with extraordinary stories. FreshFM is where you hear the heart of our region through music, conversations, and connections. We give a voice to those who might otherwise go unheard, strengthening the fabric of our community.
We’re a station by the people, for the people, and about the people. Every programme is crafted by volunteers – locals living and breathing the same experiences as you. Our studios in Nelson, Motueka, and Tākaka are creative hubs where ideas are born, voices are nurtured, and stories are shared – all powered by the passion of people like you.
