ABOUT THIS STATION
Listen to community-oriented programming for Central New Yorkers on Community FM. Every midday, Community FM brings you specialty local programming like Syracuse University’s "Thursday Morning Roundtable," plus WCNY programs like "On the Money," "Ivory Tower," "CONNECT-NY," "Behind the Woman," and "Cycle of Health." Monday through Saturday at 11 a.m., catch up on state politics with "The Capitol Pressroom," hosted by WCNY’s own David Lombardo. And stay tuned for new community-oriented programs as they are produced! In addition to local people and local perspectives, Community FM features Sounds of Jazz from the Classic FM archives, hosted by the legendary Leo Rayhill, daily at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. You can also listen to a variety of other great jazz programs throughout the day and night, with news from National Public Radio on the hour. Community FM is available on an HD radio (WCNY-HD3, Syracuse / WUNY-HD3, Utica / WJNY-HD3, Watertown); or by streaming here on the TuneIn app, at wcny.org, or by asking Alexa to “Play WCNY.”
